Plot(줄거리)  : 괴짜인 한물간 록 뮤지션 미키(Micky Adams)는 그의 음반 회사(record label)가 그와 그의 새로운 유니크 앨범을 퇴출시키려 하자, 현실파악력을 잃는다. 우편물실(mailroom)을 벗어나려는 희망을 가지고, 젊은 찰리(Charlie Porter)는 그 뮤지션의 기이한 집으로 여행해서 미키를 그의 계약에서 빠지도록 강요하는 직무를 할당받는다. 미키는 찰리가 예술적인 브레이크스루의 돌파구일 수도 있다는 것을 깨닫는다. 그리고 그 두 사람의 예상 밖의 우정이 커져간다. 이 이상하지만 강력한 유대가 두 사람이 음악산업(the music industry), 인생, 사랑.. 그리고 사이 공간(틈새 공간, the space between)에 관한 관점을 얻도록 돕는다.
