Summary(개요)  :  As a deadly virus ravages the world, Dr. Martin Lowery embarks on a mission to reach test site ATU327A, a research hub deep in the Arboreal Forest. The arduous journey, guided by park scout Alma, is set back by a nighttime attack that leaves the two bruised and shoeless. When they run into Zach, a man living off the grid, they gratefully accept his help. Zach’s intentions aren’t exactly what they seem, however, and a path out of the forest and into safety quickly fades as the line between myth and science blurs. [Sundance]

 

Plot(줄거리)  : 치명적인 바이러스가 세계를 초토(焦土)화시키자, 마틴 박사(Dr. Martin Lowery)는 (수목이 우거진 숲 속 깊숙이 있는 연구중심지) 실험 장소 ATU327A에 도달하는 임무에 착수한다. 공원정찰대원 알마(Alma)가 안내하는 그 고된 여행은 그 둘이 야간의 공격으로 타박상을 입고 신발이 없는 상태가 되면서 지연(遲延)된다. 그들은 자급자족(自給自足)하는 삶을 사는 잭(Zach)과 조우(遭遇)하고, 잭의 도움을 고마워하며 받아들인다. 하지만 잭의 의도는 겉보기와 꼭 같지는 않다. 그리고 미신(迷信)과 과학 사이의 경계가 흐릿해지면서 숲 밖으로의 길, 안전으로의 길은 재빨리 희미해진다.
