Summary(개요)  :  Thirty years has passed since the appearance of Burnish, a race of flame-wielding mutant beings, who destroyed half of the world with fire. When a new group of aggressive mutants calling themselves "Mad Burnish" appears, the epic battle between Galo Thymos, a new member of the anti-Burnish rescue team "Burning Rescue," and Lio Fotia, the leader of "Mad Burnish" begins. Plot(줄거리)  :  어느날 돌연변이에 의한 신인류 버니쉬(Burnish)가 출현한다. 그들은 불꽃을 부릴 수 있는 새로운 종족이다. 그러나 그로 인한 사건사고가 끊이질 않으면서 각국 정부는 버니쉬 격리 정책을 추진한다. 이에 대하여 버니쉬 독립 자치를 요구하는 운동도 격화되면서 과격 테러조직 "매드 버니쉬"에 의한 염상(炎上) 사건이 끊이질 않는다. 결국, 사태는 걷잡을 수 없이 커져서 세계 동시 대염상(大炎上) 사건이 발생하고, 전 인구의 반절 가량이 사망한다. 대염상(大炎上) 사건의 종결로부터 30년이 흐르고, 여전히 크고 작은 버니쉬 범죄가 간헐적으로 발생하지만, 모두의 노력으로 평화가 유지되고 있다. 메트로 폴리스 신도시에서는 "버니쉬로 인한 화재"는 고기동 구명 소방대 '버닝 레스큐' 팀에서 담당하고, "버니쉬 범죄"는 "프리즈 포스"에서 담당하고 있다. 오늘 프로메폴리스 신도시 B-25지구에서 버니쉬로 인한 고층빌딩화재가 발생하자, 버닝 레스큐 팀(이그니스, 루치아, 배리스와 레미, 아이나, 갈로·티모스)이 출동한다. 버닝 레스큐 팀의 활약으로 고층빌딩의 화재를 진압한 후에 마지막으로 신입대원 갈로·티모스가 소화 구조장비를 착용하고 옥상으로 대피한 사람들을 구출한다. 그런데 그때 지난 30년간 인류가 쫓아왔던 (버니쉬 범죄의 중심인) 매드 버니쉬의 리더(리오·포티아)와 두 간부가 모습을 나타내는데..
