Plot(줄거리)  : 슈퍼 스파이 랜스 스털링(Lance Sterling)과 MIT 출신의 과학자 월터 베켓(Walter Beckett)은 거의 정반대이다. 랜스는 부드럽고 침착하면서 정중하고 멋지고 당당하다. 천재지만 너드(nerd) 기질이 다분한 청년월터는.. 그렇지 않다. 그런데 그들이 속한 스파이 에이전트의 비밀 무기 연구소에서 M9어쌔씬이란 공격 드론이 탈취당하는 사건이 발생한다. M9어쌔신은 대기의 에너지로 작동하는 반 자율 공격 드론으로, 목표물을 어디까지고 추격하여 제거하는 가공(可恐)할 무기이다. 랜스가 M9어쌔씬을 되찾기 위해 노력하지만, 오히려 누명을 쓰고 자신의 조직으로부터 쫓기는 신세가 된다. 여러 가지 사건이 예기치 못한 방향으로 전개되면서, 전혀 어울리지 않는 랜스와 월터, 이 예상 밖의 듀오(duo)가 (랜스를 용감하고, 사납고, 위풍당당한 .. 비둘기로 변형시키는) 거의 불가능한 위장을 요하는 임무를 위해 팀(team)을 짜게 된다.
